Brassington’s Carnival Day

What are you all doing on Saturday 31 July? Fancy taking part in a Derbyshire tradition? Bring your families, friends and partners to Brassington’s Carnival Day where they’ll be lots to do for all the family - face painting, inflatable slides, Punch and Judy, stalls, cream teas, fish and chips. In the evening see the 18 feet high Wicker Man burn whilst enjoying a pint or two of traditional beer at the beer festival. Set the night sky alight with paper lanterns (on sale on the night) , listen to live music and enjoy the delicious barbeque all included in the ticket price of just £5 adults; £2 under 16’s and under 5’s free. Meet outside the Miners Arms Pub, Brassington at 6.30pm to help take the giant Wicker Man up the dale ready for food to be served at 7pm.
